Italian Research and Development Activities Towards Full Use of COSMO SkyMed and the Future European Systems

ASI is coordinating initiatives preparing the exploitation of COSMO-SkyMed Mission. Here we summarize the on going end the future ones, illustrating the research projects, the technological developments and demonstration activities at Matera Station, the COSMO-SkyMed adopted approach and then the near term perspectives. In particular the paper will shortly illustrate the ASI perspective on information retrieval from EO multi-mission archives and the work in progress and planned activities around information retrieval and management: - Research projects - Technological developments: the SSPI and the ASI Multimission National Center projects - COSMO-SkyMed approach.
