Abstract
We performed a study of 93 radio sources belonging to the same 3CRR sample but characterized by different radio and optical classifications. Two main results are presented 1) FRI sources are less efficient than FRII in converting gravitational energy into radiation; 2) The accretion flow is an important X-ray component in all the FRII radio sources except for Low Excitation Line Radio galaxies (LEGs); LEGs have either the largest ratio between the jet kinetic (Lkin) and accretion power (Lacc) or strong absorption in X-rays.
