Abstract
Within EUROMIR 95 mission, two in-flight experiments (T4 and 38-D) foresaw the carrying out of quantitative human movement analysis in mu-gravity. For this aim a space qualified version of the motion analyser ELITE has been installed on board of the MIR space station. The system (Elite-S) has been exploited for the acquisition of kinematics data, following specific experimental protocols. For both experiments, several sessions have been carried out, in order to characterise numerically the subjects motor behaviour along the whole mission. In the following paper we deal particularly with the crucial aspect of the experimental kinematics data reliability, considering two fundamental related topics: accuracy in 3D co-ordinates identification and data comparability among different experimental sessions.
