Abstract
BeppoSAX observed the Seyfert 1 galaxy, namely NGC 3783, for ~5 days. The long exposure provided a very high quality spectrum. We could detect an excess of emission at low energy and, for the first time, a cut-off at high energy. Flux and spectral variations on time scales of hours were observed. A time resolved spectral analysis indicates that this spectral variability is due to changes of the intrinsic power law slope.
