Abstract
The results coming from the utilization of the four operative COSMO-SkyMed (Constellation of Small Satellites for Mediterranean basin observation) satellites show the significant achievement of the X-band SAR in occasion to monitoring structural and ground deformations. COSMO-SkyMed satellites are very suitable for monitoring structural and ground deformations, because they can acquire high quality images with very high resolution. Indeed, thanks to CSK four satellites constellation, COSMO-SkyMed has the unique capability to collect several images daily over any area worldwide. In this paper the analysis related to the application of COSMO-SkyMed data support to monitoring structural and ground deformations and the description of some real use. © 2015, International Society for Structural Health Monitoring of Intelligent Infrastructure, ISHMII.
