Reliable application of new electronic components in CASSINI program

The development of highly challenging space instruments such as CASSINI VIMS-V (Visible and Infrared Mapping Spectrometer - Visible channel) and HASI (Huygens Athmospheric Structure Instrument), often requires courageous choice in the selection of electronic components in order to achieve the requested performances (including costs and schedule) without affecting quality and reliability.
