Unraveling the X-ray spectrum of PDS 456 with BeppoSAX

Abstract
A BeppoSAX observation of the high-luminosity nearby (z=0.184) radio-quiet quasar PDS 456 is presented. The spectral complexity of the object (i.e. a deep ionized iron edge without any emission iron line) is fully accounted for by a transmission model.
