Publication AGILE detection of enhanced gamma-ray activity from BL Lacertae(2017-06-01) ;Piano, G.; ; ; ; ; AGILE is revealing enhanced gamma-ray activity above 100 MeV from a source positionally consistent with BL Lacertae (HB89 2200+420, z=0.0686). Integrating between 2017-06-04 UT 04 00 00 and 2017-06-06 UT 04 00 00, a preliminary multi-source likelihood analysis detects a gamma-ray flux F( > 100 MeV) = (3.5 +/- 1.0) x 10^-6 photons/cm^2/s with a significance greater than 5 sigma.Type:letter8 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication AGILE detection of enhanced gamma-ray activity from BL Lacertae(2015-06-01); ; ; ; After the recent TeV activity reported by the MAGIC telescopes (ATel #7660), AGILE is detecting intense gamma-ray emission above 100 MeV from a source positionally consistent with the blazar BL Lacertae.Type:letter10 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication INTEGRAL IBIS upper limit on the GLAST blazar PKS 1502+106 and Detection of Seyfert 1 PG 1501+106(2008-08-01) ;Ubertini, P. ;Bazzano, A. ;Bird, A. J.The imager IBIS on board INTEGRAL has observed the sky region containing the GLAST newly detected high energy blazar PKS 1502+106 (ATEL 1650) during a standard pointing performed from MJDs 53760.4 to 53762.4 for a total integration time of 83ks. IBIS has detected a new high energy source, namely IGR J15039+1022, in the energy range between 18 and 60 keV at a flux level of 1.6 mCrab (i.e. 1.2x10exp-11 erg cm-2 s-1).Type:letter2 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication INTEGRAL observation of the blazar 3C454.3 in outburst(2005-05-01) ;Foschini, L. ;Di Cocco, G. ;Malaguti, G.The blazar 3C 454.3 (z = 0.859) has been observed by INTEGRAL as a Target-of-Opportunity for 200 ks, starting on May 15, 2005, at 18 40 UT following the announcement of a bright state at various frequencies (see Balonek, VSNET Alert; Remillard, ATel 484; Trushkin et al., ATel 488). The source was clearly detected by the IBIS/ISGRI instrument in the 20-40 and 40-100 keV energy bands, with a significance of 20 and 15 sigma, respectively.Type:letter4 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Reply to Lanari, R., et al. comment on “pre-collapse space geodetic observations of critical infrastructure: The morandi bridge, Genoa, Italy” by Milillo et al. (2019)(MDPI AG, 2020) ;Milillo, P. ;Giardina, G. ;Perissin, D. ;Milillo, G. ;Coletta, A.Terranova, C.Journal: Remote Sensing, Volume: 12, Issue: 24We would like to thank our colleagues for their comment, as we believe that this discussion further highlights the importance of innovative research in the emerging field of InSAR applications to civil engineering structures. We discuss the statement from Lanari et al. (2020): “Our analysis shows that, although both the SBAS and the TomoSAR analyses allow achieving denser coherent pixel maps relevant to the Morandi bridge, nothing of the pre-collapse large displacements reported in Milillo et al. (2019) appears in our results”. In this reply we argue that (1) they cannot detect the pre-collapse movements because they use standard approaches and (2) the signals of interest become observable by changing the point of view. © 2020 by the authors.
